California
Financial Literacy Standards

Under Assembly Bill 2927, every California public high school will offer a standalone personal finance course by the 2027–28 school year, and completing that course becomes a statewide graduation requirement beginning in 2030–31. Our learning materials are aligned to the Personal Finance Curriculum Guide, adopted by the State Board of Education in March 2026.

Click Personal Finance below to see how our lessons, Budget Game, and Stock Game map to those learning outcomes. Economics, Business Management, and Finance alignments are listed alongside it.
