Alberta Career and Life Management Curriculum Alignment

To support Alberta educators delivering the required CALM course (minimum 3 credits for graduation), we have aligned our learning materials to the Resource Choices (R1–R11) and Career and Life Choices (C1–C11) specific outcomes from Alberta’s Career and Life Management Guide to Implementation (Program of Studies, 2002).

Explore the table below to see exactly how our lessons, Budget Game, and Stock Game reinforce the specific learning outcomes your students need to master. Our Learning Library contains over 300 total lessons that can be customized for every class, so this may not include every lesson that may apply for each standard.

This alignment covers the financial literacy and career development outcomes within CALM (General Outcomes 2 and 3). Personal Choices outcomes related to health and relationships are outside the scope of PersonalFinanceLab.
